Saturday at the Serpentine: My first piece of swimming silverware!

This morning I made it down to the Serpentine to participate in my first saturday morning handicap race. Today’s  was the “Daily Telegraph Cup”: 220 yards of swimming fun.

Such a diverse group of swimmers; great banter; and prizes for everyone. Hooray for my first piece of swimming silverware – a silver rice platter!

A big thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcome. Some lovely chat over (a tasty veggie) breakfast after the swim too – inspiring times… 😉
